Exercise is the first domino that kickstarts the life you want to live—and FastFit is built for wherever you’re starting from.
“If you’re willing to get on the phone and speak with someone about what’s going on in your life to see if you can make a positive change—that is a win all on its own. You are doing amazing right here, right now.” — Kate Ramsey, FastFit Team Support Center
One of the most common questions people ask before trying FastFit is simple: Is this really for me?
In this episode, Kyle Recchia sits down with Kate Ramsey—a FastFit team member of nearly eight years—to answer that question head-on. Kate works in our Team Support Center, where she’s often the first voice a prospective member hears. She’s talked to thousands of people at every stage of life: from a 9-year-old whose mom wanted him to build healthy habits early, to a 99-year-old gentleman who trained on oxygen from a wheelchair.
The takeaway? The FastFit™ methodology is designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you’re an athlete rebuilding after injury, a parent setting a foundation for your kids, or someone navigating a serious diagnosis, the workout adapts to you—not the other way around.
Kyle shares the story of a member diagnosed with stage four cancer whose doctor advised against strength training. That member did his own research, found FastFit, and trained throughout his treatment. Years later, he’s in recovery—and none of the predicted side effects materialized. As Kyle puts it, exercise is the “first domino.” It’s the habit that kicks off slow and steady improvements in sleep, metabolism, confidence, and mental health.
Kate also addresses one of the biggest barriers she hears daily: the “But.” I want to start, but I have injuries. But I just finished physical therapy. But I don’t think I can do this. Her response is compassionate and clear—the fact that you’re even asking the question means you’ve already taken the first step. FastFit’s science-based approach and certified trainers are equipped to build a program that adapts to your particular circumstances, not in spite of them.

- How a member with stage four cancer used strength training as part of his recovery
- What Kate tells prospective members who want to start but feel held back by injuries, fear, or uncertainty
- How to schedule an introductory session or call the Team Support Center to have a real conversation before you commit
