Nichole Wolf returns—this time certified in hyperbaric oxygen therapy medicine—to break down a tool that most people associate only with burn victims and scuba divers. Turns out, HBOT (or HBOT) is one of the most powerful interventions for inflammation, healing, and longevity available today.
Here’s the mechanism: HBOT places you under increased atmospheric pressure, which pushes oxygen out of your red blood cells and into your plasma—saturating every cell in your body. Your mitochondria use that oxygen to make ATP (energy). And in the process, HBOT turns off pro-inflammatory genes and turns on anti-inflammatory genes.
