EMS stands for electronic muscle stimulation.

  • The current that suits you

FastFit trainers are with you throughout your session. From the moment you step into your FastFit power suit—a slimming neoprene suit that feels like a second skin and comes outfitted with 20 high-tech pulse pads—your trainer will work with you to find the right level of intensity for your comfort.

  • Activate and Energize

EMS works by activating your muscles to stimulate contractions. Your muscles naturally contract all the time—whether you’re flexing or just moving around. EMS, through electrodes built into the power suit you’ll wear during your FastFit workout, sends electronic impulses to your muscles so that they contract more frequently.

  • Tailored to You

We design our EMS-centered routines to be low-impact, fast, and focused on your fitness goals.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR FIRST SESSION

3. Move

We’ll take you through a 20-minute routine designed to bring out your personal best. You’ll work up a sweat, but the time will fly by.

4. Cool Down

Our studios are equipped with showers and areas to stretch, rehydrate, and refuel, so you’ll head back out feeling better than you arrived.

5. Go Live Life

You’ll be in and out in 30mins, energized, and free to do more with your day.

FAQ

What is EMS?

EMS stands for Electronic Muscle Stimulation. For us, it’s a shorthand for the true pulse of a FastFit workout. EMS works by activating your muscles and stimulating contractions. Your muscles naturally contract all the time, whether you’re flexing or just moving around. EMS, through electrodes built into the suit you’ll wear during your FastFit workout, sends electronic impulses to your muscles so that they contract more frequently.

Is it for everyone?

Pregnant women and those with a pacemaker and certain cardiac issues, or neurological issues should avoid EMS use. As with all types of fitness approaches, check with your doctor to make sure it is right for you.

How often should I do it?

For the greatest benefits, we suggest two to three times a week.

What are the benefits?

There are a lot of documented benefits. Studies link use of EMS to increase in strength and power, in less time. Combined with FastFit workout routines and personal training, your results will be tailored to you.

If you want to learn more, here are a few resources you might find helpful:

Will it hurt?

Not at all. Many users of EMS say it feels “tingly,” “intense,” and occasionally, “really good.”

Is it hard?

You and your trainer will work together to set the right level of intensity for you. We aim to challenge you, but the great thing about FastFit is that we can fine-tune your workout to your specific needs. That means, as you make progress, you’ll be able to increase your intensity, along with your challenge, so you can keep getting better.
